- Virtual balance
- The $100,000 is virtual money; it can’t be deposited, withdrawn or bought. No trade is ever executed at a real broker.
- Where the data comes from
- Stock prices come from IEX, a US exchange, and option prices from an indicative feed. You may see small differences from consolidated market prices.
- A fair leaderboard
- Pro only unlocks extra features; it gives no better prices and no extra virtual money. Everyone competes on equal terms.
- Your account is yours
- You can delete your account and all your data from the app at any time via Profile → Delete account.
Frequently asked questions
Am I trading with real money?
No. Every trade uses the virtual balance; no real money is deposited and no real stocks or options are bought or sold. Content in the app is not investment advice.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start right away as a guest. To join the weekly leaderboard and go Pro, create an account with Apple or Google; your portfolio and lesson progress move to it.
Are prices real or delayed?
Stock prices are real and live; they come from trades on IEX, a US exchange. Option prices are indicative and may be a few seconds behind. You may see small differences from sources that show consolidated prices.
Which markets are available?
US stocks, ETFs and their options. Borsa Istanbul (BIST) and funds are coming soon.
What does Pro add?
Unlimited option trades, unlimited AI analysis and price alerts, lesson levels 6–16 and portfolio reset. The first 7 days are free; you can cancel any time in your App Store settings.
What happens if my balance runs out?
If your cash can’t cover an order, you can’t place new buy orders. Sell what you hold to free up cash, or reset your portfolio with Pro and start over with $100,000.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. If you can’t access the app, write to support@stockmarketsimulator.app; details are on the Delete account page.
